AT&T will release the new BlackBerry Torch 9810. This 4G smartphone is powered by the BlackBerry 7 OS that provides an easier and faster user experience with improved browsing, voice-activated searches, the ability to manage personal content separately from corporate content, as well as additional personal and productivity apps out of the box. The BlackBerry Torch 9810 also features a full QWERTY keyboard, a sliding display, a 1.2GHz processor, an 8GB of onboard memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 720p video capture, WiFi and support for the carrier’s HSPA+ network. It seems that Verizon will launch the Samsung Stratosphere very soon. The network carrier has made a support page for the upcoming smartphone and then quickly removed it. There is a possibility that the Samsung Stratosphere is another name for the rumored Samsung Galaxy S II 4G LTE phone. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation from Samsung at this time. LG is about to release another budget-friendly clamshell phone for the Russian market. Called the A258, the handset will feature a 2.2-inch color display, a 2.0-megapixel camera, a 1GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), a media player, an FM tuner, social networking integration, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a USB port and a 900mAh battery. The LG Optimus Net P699 (Gelato) has just passed Bluetooth certification and is listed as being available for AT&T sometime in August 2011. Feature-wise, the LG P699 should bring Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch HVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 3.2MP camera. Nokia has announced the availability of the Nokia 500. This Symbian-powered smartphone is designed for those who are looking for a low-cost, full-function smartphone. The Nokia 500 features a fast 1GHz processor, changeable back covers, a 3.2-inch (640 x 360) capacitive touch display and a 5-megapixel camera that can also capture video. The Nokia 500 comes with the latest Symbian Anna OS, offering a refreshed UI, a better browser and split-screen messaging. Other specs include Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi b/g. The phone measures 111.3mm x 53.8mm x 14.1mm and weighs in at 93 grams – lighter than any other Symbian^3 phone to date. The battery will provide 5-7 hours talk time, 450+ hours in standby mode, or up to 35 hours of music playback. Bell Canada is reportedly preparing to launch Motorola’s brand new Android smartphone ‘XT860 4G’ on their network. The handset is said to be available on August 9th (next week), however, there’s no word on pricing yet. Vodafone is preparing to release a new Facebook phone on their network called the Vodafone 555 Blue. The handset will feature a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 landscape display, a 200MHz MediaTek processor, a 2MP camera with flash, a full physical QWERTY keyboard, a 40MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, Facebook integration, an FM radio, a music player, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 1000mAh battery. Fujitsu IS12T WP7 Mango Phone
KDDI has introduced the Fujitsu IS12T Windows Phone 7.5 (aka Mango) smartphone in Japan. The water resistant handset features a 13.2-megapixel camera, a 3.7-inch WVGA screen, a Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a 32GB of storage space. It seems that AT&T will launch the BlackBerry Torch 9860. This smartphone has been spotted with AT&T branding. FYI, the BlackBerry Torch 9860 has a 3.7-inch (800 x 480) display, a near-field communication chip, a magnetic compass, a portable Wi-Fi hotspot function, a 1.2Ghz processor, and a 768 MB of RAM. Russian-based mobile operator MTS has unleashed their newest Android smartphone in Russia called the MTS 950. The handset sports a 2.8-inch 240 x 320 touchscreen display, a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, a 256MB RAM, a 512MB of flash storage, a microSD card slot, a 2.0-megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Android 2.2.1 Froyo OS. LG Thrill 4G Pricing Unveiled
AT&T has unveiled the pricing of the new LG Thrill 4G. The network carrier will launch the LG Thrill 4G on August 7, 2011 for $99.99 with a new 2-year contract agreement. In case you didn’t know, the LG Thrill 4G is AT&T’s version of the LG Optimus 3D. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS (upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread), the handset features a 4.3-inch 3D display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, dual 5MP cameras with 3D video recording, and an 8GB of on-board memory. KDDI Regza Phone IS11T Android Smartphone
KDDI today unveiled a working prototype of the Regza Phone IS11T Android smartphone. Powered by the Google Android 2.3.4, the smartphone features a fast 1.4Ghz Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch Full Wide VGA display and a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. Additional specs include an 8MP digital camera, IR data transmission support, WiFi, and Bluetooth. The KDDI Regza Phone IS11T offers up to 300-minute of talk time or up to 260-hour of standby time. Nokia N9 MeeGo Phone Release Date Unveiled
Nokia Russia has recently unveiled the release date of the Nokia N9 MeeGo phone. The handset will be launched on August 19th, 2011 for around $686. As a reminder, the Nokia N9 MeeGo phone comes jam packed with a 3.9-inch AMOLED display, a polycarbonate body and a choice of 16GB or 64GB internal storage capacity. Fujitsu F-07C Windows 7 Phone Released In Japan
Fujitsu has decided to launch the F-07C Windows 7 phone in Japan via NTT DOCOMO on July 23, 2011. The smartphone provides a 1.2GHz Intel Atom CPU, a 4-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive display, a 1GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, HSPA and GPS. Additionally, the Fujitsu F-07C is also known as the world’s smallest PC that fits into the palm of the user’s hand.
HTC Weike With Weibo Button
HTC has rolled out the HTC Weike in China. Priced at 3,380 Yuan ($525), the handset comes with a dedicated Weibo button. In case you didn’t know, Weibo is a Chinese microblogging site. Samsung Singapore has confirmed the availability of the Wave 578. It is the first bada phone to feature NFC (Near Field Communication) and comes with bada 1.1 OS.
